A Note on Access & Care
This model is built on:
Trust
Shared responsibility
Clinical sustainability
Respect for autonomy
No one is asked to prove hardship or justify their needs.
At Fine Therapy PLLC, I believe mental health care should be ethical, affirming, and accessible, while also being sustainable and grounded.
Access to therapy is shaped by more than motivation or effort. Systemic factors, such as racism, ableism, immigration status, gender inequity, chronic illness, caretaking labor, and generational wealth, impact people’s access to financial resources in real ways.
Rather than assuming everyone starts from the same place, I offer a tiered private-pay rate structure alongside insurance-based care through Headway, allowing clients to choose the option that best fits their current circumstances.
How Pricing Works
My fees vary by service type based on the level of clinical intensity, training, and preparation involved.
Clients choosing private pay are invited to select a tier based on their current access to financial resources.

EMDR therapy is a specialized, trauma-focused modality that requires advanced training, structured preparation, and careful pacing. Due to the intensity of this work, access-based rates for EMDR sessions may be more limited.
If you’re unsure which option is best for you, we can talk it through together or you can use the questionnaire below to assist in identifying the the pay structure best suited for you.
Using Insurance (Headway)
I accept several insurance plans through Headway, which manages insurance verification, billing, and claims.
If you choose to use insurance:
Your session cost is determined by your plan (copay, deductible, or coinsurance)
Rates are set by the insurance provider and are not adjustable
Headway will verify benefits prior to your first session
Insurance-based care and private-pay care receive the same quality of clinical attention.
Choosing Your Rate
I invite you to choose the rate that best reflects your current access to financial resources, not how hard you work, how much stress you carry, or how “deserving” you feel.
No documentation required
No explanations needed
No judgment
Rates are not permanent labels. If your circumstances change, we can revisit your rate together.
A Note on Sustainability
To provide consistent, ethical care, the number of reduced-fee spots in my practice is limited. When those spaces are filled, I may offer a waitlist or referrals to trusted clinicians and community resources.
Caring for clients well requires caring for the sustainability of the practice.
