Meet your Therapist

Hi, I’m Kaiya, LMHC. I offer humanistic, relational therapy for millennial women and people of color healing relational and racial trauma, anxiety, and ADHD-related overwhelm.

My work centers connection, cultural awareness, and nervous system healing, helping you move from survival patterns into grounded, self-trusting growth.

A Thoughtful Space for Healing

As humans, we can hold a lot: expectations, emotional labor, generational patterns, and the pressure to appear okay even when we’re not.

Many of my clients have learned to be the strong one. The responsible one. The one who adapts.

Therapy with me creates space to feel, process, and heal without judgment.

If you’re seeking trauma-informed therapy that honors your cultural experience and supports deep, sustainable change, I invite you to schedule a consultation to explore whether this work feels aligned.

Who I Work Best With

I specialize in working with millennial women and people of color navigating:

  • Relational trauma and attachment wounds

  • Racial trauma and identity-based stress

  • Anxiety and chronic overfunctioning

  • ADHD-related overwhelm and shame cycles

  • Burnout from being “the strong one”

Many of my clients are high-achieving and deeply responsible; professionally capable but emotionally stretched. They often carry unspoken pressure to hold it together, prove their worth, or stay composed in spaces that haven’t always felt safe.

If you’re ready to move beyond survival and toward grounded confidence, this work may be a strong fit.

Connection First.
Modalities Second.

Healing Happens in Relationship.

My approach is humanistic and deeply relational. I prioritize safety, authenticity, and cultural context so that you feel seen, not analyzed.

Within that foundation, I integrate:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Somatic and nervous system-based therapies

  • Internal Family Systems–informed parts work

  • Attachment-focused approaches

  • Trauma-informed CBT and DBT skills

  • Anxiety and ADHD-informed support

This allows us to process trauma both emotionally and physiologically — while also strengthening daily-life tools like boundaries, focus, and self-regulation.

Therapy with me is gentle but honest. Depth-oriented. Collaborative. Paced in a way that respects your nervous system.

“You deserve support that sees your complexity, honors your pace, and nurtures your healing.”

Reclaiming Power, Not Just Reducing Symptoms.

Many of the patterns you struggle with once kept you safe.

Hyper-independence. Overworking. Staying quiet. Anticipating others’ needs. Minimizing your own.

These strategies helped you navigate relational wounds, racial harm, anxiety, or environments that required adaptation.

Therapy isn’t about criticizing those parts of you.
It’s about helping them feel safe enough to soften.

As steadiness grows, so does choice. And with choice comes power.
